Nadi International Airport

THE main gateway to Fiji Islands is the Nadi International Airport, a small yet busy airport and an important hub for air traffic across the South Pacific. It handles international flights, domestic flights and charter helicopter services. Located about 9 kilometres (just over 5 miles) east of Nadi Town it enjoys a scenic setting, with majestic highlands in an arc to the north-east through to the south. To the west is Nadi Bay dotted out to the horizon with the islands of the Mamanuca group and southern Yasawa group. The L-shaped terminal handles both arrivals and departures and contains modern coffee shops, cafes, gift shops, bank and tourism related offices.
